Message	battery. Or perhaps mold of some sort. Hot and humid there and inside a garage. Mine is stored the same and I got some mold. One thing is for sure, letting a car sit is one of the worst things: bad for oil, fuel, etc. When you crank it and let it run, you also need to go drive it for at least 15 minutes to cycle out all the bad crap.
